The latest signings to super-cool, super-succesful Transgressive, Foals are probably best described as a more danceable, less serious Bloc Party. Quite simply, the jagged rhythms and repetitive phrases are quite enough to cause what we'd describe as looking like an epileptic fit. If, of course, that wasn't a bit offensive, like.
Not only do the band have dates with The Noisettes and The Young Knives lined up, they're also appearing at US superfest SXSW, and highly regarded nights Liars Club in Nottingham, and Leeds' Bad Sneakers. So that's bigger audiences and 'cool factor' sorted. Ace!
