Ice, Sea, Dead People are a self-proclaimed ‘noise-punk’ trio from London who dress like your typical indie boys, complete with dark rimmed glasses and cute t-shirts. What’s special here, however, is that their music is not typical of the genre they portray in their style, and that’s pretty refreshing, right?

‘Noise-punk’ - let’s go over that again. Describing what you do as ‘noise’ is, you'd have thought, not so complimentary; 'Teeth Union', however, does exactly what it says on the tin - if you’re after some new, all out, unapologetic rock to fill your iPod, look no further.

Often with music of this nature, things can get a little stale by track three, but ISDP manage to create nine tracks which each dissociate themselves from the rest, making for a pretty OK album. Of course each track is aggressive in nature, with great similarities in approach and format from one to the next, but were you to play the album right through, you could not be fooled into thinking it was one big mess of a song. Which helps.

'My Twin Brother's A Brother' is, relatively speaking, easy on the ears. Whilst some songs disregard the ‘standard’ song writing pattern completely, making for a rather confused aural assault, this one even boasts a somewhat discernible chorus. Another standout track is 'Satan / Japan', which has a very punk feel and is actually rather catchy, weaving its way into your subconscious and settling there for a while.
