The Filthy Disco, DIY Radio

The Filthy Disco Goes Under The Radar If you’re a regular listener to the Filthy Disco show (every Thursday on DIY Radio 8-9PM) you’ll know of the Over & Over track. It speaks for itself really – it’s where I play a new track that I absolutely cannot stop playing, and it’s that one track guaranteed to lift me out of whatever murky mood I’m in.

Since the show is fortnightly, that leaves this week neglected of an Over & Over track. So as an extension of the feature I’ve decided to create a blog series called On The Radar which promises to deliver regular doses of new music from exciting bands that you simply must get to know.

So for our first On The Radar blog post, we have the track Jenni from Womans Hour.

And here are 5 Big Facts about the band:
1. There are four of them
2. Their names are Fiona, William, Josh and Nicolas (Fiona and William are siblings, don’t ya know!)
3. They come from Kendal in the Lake District
4. They started making music when they moved to South London and were bored.
5. They’re releasing 'Jenni'/'Human' on Dirty Bingo Records on December 5th.
Finally, here are some pictures from their show at the Lock Tavern in Camden recently.

Aren’t they a pretty lot?
