2010 Tips From We Fell To Earth & Race Horses

The two bands tell us who they'd like to see be successful next year.

We're not really huge fans of lists (unless they're of the Christmas or shopping variety) as when used to mark the start or end of something (the year, say, or the decade...) they all seem to be the bloody same. We don't really want to tip Ellie Goulding, or The Drums - you know they're going to do well, everyone else has already told you. So, we've got some other people to tell us who they think should be big this year, and who will be big this year. Different people it seems have interpreted this different ways, and it's all interesting stuff. This week (and maybe some of next) we're going to publish them, in a feature a day (some are quite short, you see).

We Fell To Earth

I don’t know who will be big in 2010 but here’s who should be (though I'm not suggesting that they probably won't because anything can happen, right?) - HTRK, Banjo or Freakout, Ivan Ink+Pen.

Meilyr Jones, Race Horses

Who will be big in 2010 - probably a miserable band from the U.S.A involving a dreary vocal line and lots of reverb.

Who should be big in 2010 - Klaus Kinski from North Wales and Huckleberry Friends, from Toronto.

I think my mum would be quite happy if Celine Dion was big in 2010.
