Sure, Latitude is a music festival, but feast your eyes, and ears, on these alternative options of what you can treat yourself to over the course of the long weekend...
Adam Buxton presents BUG

Of course Adam Buxton, comedian, writer and general music video geek, can be trusted to put on possibly the best showcase of new music video talent, ranging from the familiar to the downright bizarre. This is an absolute must, especially if you've never had the joy of attending one of the ICA versions of this event.
When You're Strange: A Film About The Doors

The reviews for this documentary are of the scale! It chronicles the Doors from their very inception right 'till their bitter end, or Jim Morrisson's death, all the while showing the leather trouser wearing frontman in all his pompous (arse) glory. Catch it before you have to pay a tenner to.
Phill Jupitus & Friends Improv Show

It's undeniable, Phill Jupitus is a funny man. And not just funny either, he's witty. His humour is sharp and intelligent, a refreshing pillar he stands as what it is to remain a well-respected and successful comedian.
Lyric presents A Midsummer Night's Dream

Try and at least catch one of the two performances of this latest serving of newly interpreted Shakespeare. I'd go for the open air show on the Saturday, but you may be busy, oh I don't know, watching something GREAT like the xx, Archie Bronson Outfit or Active Child, but fear not, they're doing it on the Friday too.
Guilty Pleasures / Smash & Grab / Swap-A-Rama

And of course, some of London's greatest soirees will be taking place, supplying you all with top notch tunes, dressing up and scenesters in the mud... or dust. Nice.
