All I Want For Christmas: The High Wire
The High Wire really want to hear the Bob Dylan Christmas album, and won't be discussing X Factor.

We'll be honest, we're a bit stuck for Christmas present ideas this year. We've tried looking in all the usual shops in at least four different shopping centres, we've tried the internet, we've tried everything. Everything, except asking other people what they want, and copying the ideas for friends and family. Until now, that is. Hurray.Tim from The High Wire tells us the band really really want to hear the Bob Dylan Christmas album, and that they won't be discussing X Factor during the festive period.

This Christmas The High Wire would v. much like to find family, food, a fire place and a phone line to those we love far away. We are curious about the Bob Dylan xmas album and shall probably give that a listen ahead of hearing Slade and the Pogues again. If the box of delights is repeated on some obscure tv station we will be v. happy. We shall drink way too much Tokaji and you should try some too. Our day will be entirely dependent upon the whim of those over 80 and those under 5. We shall help with laying the table, clearing the plates and lighting the brandy on the xmas pudding. We will quote Flight of the Conchords a lot, but will not talk about politics, the X Factor or who should play up front in the world cup next summer (even though you got to go with Jermain Defoe). We shall offer to do the driving, although secretly very much don't want to. We will try to decide what to do on New Years Eve, even though we know we'll still be changing our mind 2 days before. We will toast lost ones.
The High Wire released their debut single 23rd November via Granpa Stan recs. ‘The Sleep Tape’ album will follow next year.
