What can you say about a band who once invited their fans to record for them by singing down their phones? A band whose lead singer has been known to start gigs off by pretending to fall asleep on a table? Make no mistake, Butlins is not going to know what has hit it when Curator's Numero Uno hit the stage on Friday. Best known for a live show that is sheer, unadulterated chaos (in a good way, of course), expect the floors to be literally shaking during their brilliantly sweaty set.
DIY has a team of trusty writers and photographers heading their way over to ATP's Nightmare Before Christmas in Butlins, Minehead this weekend (9th - 11th December). Before then, we thought we'd run you through some of the bands you really ought to watch whilst there.
We're going to be running all sorts of interesting interviews, blog pieces, reviews and photos in and around the event, so do keep an eye out. We've even got a dedicated show going out on DIY Radio this evening, which will be well worth tuning in to - even if you're not going.
