Camp Bestival Guide 2010
Here’s who we’re most looking forward to seeing this weekend.

July 30th sees the glory of Camp Bestival return to the Dorset coastline. We’re thinking sun, sea, sand and… some bands. We'll be there to give you the goss, of course, but for now, here’s who we’re most looking forward to seeing this weekend.
Madness
It makes sense to start with the headliners and Madness are certainly on our Ones to Watch list. With tracks like 'Our House' and 'Baggy Trousers' you can't really ask for much more. Except maybe sunshine. We'd like sunshine.

Friendly Fires
Easy to over look but Friendly Fires are bagging a prime time slot at Camp Bestival this weekend. After a disappointing performance at Rockness in June and at'Benicassim' last summer, we're hoping that they'll really be able to hold the main stage this time around.

The Human League
Hands up who’s even had a drunken dance to ‘Don’t You Want Me?. Holidays do count, yes. That would be everyone then. And thus why we’re so excited to see The Human League. At the seaside, in a field and hopefully in the sun, it’ll be a bit like reminiscing about summers gone by but better and with a live band.

Lissie
She’s been making a few waves if not only for the serious advertising campaign that blitzed the streets of London last month. Fellow performer Ellie Goulding’s mate and with a pair of lungs to rival her no problem, we’re hoping that the infamous Youtube duet makes an appearance down in Dorset. She’s no rave in a can but Lissie’s chilled out melodies and soft lyrics will no doubt go down well with Camp Bestival’s notoriously mellow crowd.

Wolf Gang
Officially stamped as a One to Watch by the ones in the know, we’re excited to see what Wolf Gang has to offer. We’re desperately hoping he’ll step up to the mark after hearing some of his latest offerings on Myspace. The 22 year old has already been on tour with the likes of Miike Snow and Metric and has been compared to David Bowie and Talking Heads musically.

Spindle and Wit
Another one on that ever popular Ones to Watch list is the ever so young Spindle and Wit. With clever lyrics and easy to listen to tracks, this five piece could be a real treat this weekend. We’ve heard great things about their live performances and are excited to see whether the rumours are true.
