With the festival finally over and most revellers still trying to make their way home, DIY looks back on yesterday's performances.
Kitty, Daisy & Lewis pack out the Avalon tent and most of it's surrounding field, as they teeter around material from their new album. Still quite a young band, they need to work on change overs between songs but otherwise a solid start to the day.
Marling beautifully performs tracks from her first two albums alongside a medley of new material to a highly receptive audience. 'Ghosts' is perhaps the set highlight, with the shy songstress speaking about how playing that stage is the weirdest moment of her life.
Filling the 'legends' slot, Paul Simon sweeps through his extensive backcatalogue, getting a hot and bothered audience dancing in the afternoon sun. '50 Ways To Leave Your Lover' is a crowd favourite.
Performing in the muddiest section of the site, TV On The Radio liven things up with a stunning performance. The surprise inclusion of 'Ghostbusters' is an unexpected delight.
Sheer unadulterated brilliance from start to finish. Beyonce sees off the festival in style with a set bursting with hits (and fireworks), including a fantastic Destiny's Child medley that will keep people talking for weeks. Who run this mother? Beyonce. Fact.
Lykke Li, Bombay Bicycle Club, Gruff Rhys & Caitlin Rose.
