As the rain clears but the mud remains, DIY looks back on Saturday's (June 25) events.
The first of two performances for the band on surprisingly large stages. Their blend of psychedelic rock is good to listen to in your bedroom but doesn't translate to a venue as large as Glastonbury's Pyramid stage.
Nicolas Jaar holds his own, getting a big crowd dancing so early in the day. Obvious ties can be drawn to the likes of Bonobo. An unexpected treat.
Patrick's diva-like reputation is certainly well deserved as the charismatic frontman strutts around the stage with carefully crafted flicks of his red locks. After a rocky start, he pulls the set back by announcing his own brilliance and promising his fans a trip to the main stage in 2013.
Another 'secret' performance sees Glastonbury officials close the Park due to overcrowding. Jarvis, clearly loving the attention, flounces around the stage knocking out hit after hit. Truly brilliant; there's nothing else to say.
It's difficult to imagine how Wild Beasts might translate to such a large stage but they manage it with ease. Lots of chatter between tracks endeares them to the sizeable crowd, whilst songs like 'Albatross' cement their place as a festival highlight.
The Horrors, The Kills, Friendly Fires, Yuck & Janelle Monae.
