Hold Your Horse Is
From the same region as Hundred Reasons and Million Dead both geographically and sonically, Hold Your Horse Is make angular riff-laden post-punk that is sure to get the crowd hyped up. Definite contenders for most energetic live show.

A picturesque location deep in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, Vicarage Farm in Woodmancott may not seem like the kind of place you’d expect to find one festival, let alone two. After hosting Frank Turner, Fenech-Soler and Gold Panda at this years’ Blissfields, this weekend it will serve as the site for Good Weekend. Brand new for 2011, the organisers will be hoping that it exceeds its relatively modest title.
The incredibly diverse lineup is summed up best by the two headline acts: Art Brut, perhaps the most artsy of the Art Wave scene, and Parker, producer of killer drum & bass dance-floor bangers. Aside from the headliners, the lineup features established indie acts such as Hot Club De Paris, Lulu & The Lampshades and Nedry as well as the Greco Roman Soundsystem collective, which includes Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard.
But as with all small festivals, the best time is usually had discovering fresh, new talent, so here is our selection of not-to-be-missed sets.
