Dumbo Gets Mad - Eclectic Prawn
Dumbo didn’t go mad did he? His mum was accused of being mad, but only because they took Dumbo away right? Dumbo got drunk, this band should be called Dumbo Gets Drunk. Whatever the name, and putting cartoon pachyderm plot issues to one side, this slice of slow burning Italian loveliness veers haphazardly between seductive wooziness and fairground delirium. It sounds like it was recorded underwater - but in a good way, like in Bedknobs and Broomsticks when they’re bobbing along on the bottom of the sea, and it’s actually about an eclectic prawn.
