Fear Of Men - Doldrums
Blog-hyped bands come and go sometimes almost without anyone noticing, but Brighton's Fear Of Men seem to have some sort of sticking power. There aren't many bands that people get excited over an announcement of the release of a cassette tape, but for the band's 'Alice Munro Demos' people certainly have. Although probably helped by the fact that the songs were recorded with Henry from Lovvers, there's no doubting that fans can't get enough, and 'Doldrums' - taken from the cassette - will without doubt be appreciated. And so it should be. It's wonderful.
