Future Of The Left - Dry Hate
A frantic synth hook underpins Dry Hate, a track on the returning Future Of The Left’s Polymers Are Forever EP (released 15th November). Whilst the acerbic guitar of old is there, the new 4 piece line up leads to a greater depth of sound. The spoken word style vocals talking of ‘coffee sniffing motherfuckers’ are trademark Falco and the low production values recall *whisper it* early Mclusky. It’s not the best thing they’ve ever done: but it bodes very, very well for next years album.
Listen to the EP over on Spin.com now.
