Cloud Nothings - Stay Useless
Though Steve Albini’s presence is still plain to see on this additional slice of new Cloud Nothings material, it’s far detached from the extreme, desolate feel of ‘No Future/No Past’. Where its companion was downhearted to the brink of self-loathing, ‘Stay Useless’ plays a similar card, whilst keeping true to Dylan Baldi’s early pop-punk roots. But it’s yet another indication of a raw, punchy follow-up record, due for release next year.
