Metronomy - The Look
This won't be the first time someone's said this, but I've a little inkling that Joseph Mount is on the brink of "making it". One member departed, two members in, the revamped Metronomy follow up 'She Wants' with their most infectious song to date. "This town's the oldest friend of mine" muses Mount on top of dazzling synths and tapping beats. Spacious and instant, 'The Look' would sit pretty in clubs for lovestruck teens and that's exactly where it'll go. Expect this to evolve into one of the year's ubiquitous anthems.
