Pains of Being Pure At Heart – Tomorrow Dies Today
Hang on, is that... it is, it's a freaking guitar solo. But don't panic kids, POBPAH haven't rawked out on us completely, and the latest offering to hit the internets is just as glorious indie pop as ever they've thrown at us previously. Kip Berman's still more breathlessly whispering than actually singing. Peggy's still harmonising sweetly in the background. Even that aforementioned guitar solo is neatly disguised by jangling guitars, evoking the overall effect of being a long lost cousin of 'William, It Was Really Nothing'. It's business as usual for POBPAH then. And that's just fine with us.
