First Look At Tyler Perry & Matthew Fox In Alex Cross

Rob Cohen directs new adaptation of James Patterson's detective series.

The first images from Alex Cross have been released, revealing a terrifying Matthew Fox as the film's villain.

In this reboot of the franchise based on James Patterson's detective novels, Tyler Perry takes over the role of Dr Alex Cross from Morgan Freeman (Kiss the Girls, Along Came A Spider).

Perry and his co-star Ed Burns are pictured below, along with an unrecognisable Fox, playing against type after his long-running role in Lost. It certainly explains why he looked so gaunt towards the end of his successful run in Neil LaBute's In a Forest, Dark and Deep in the West End last March.

Rob Cohen (The Fast and the Furious, xXx) directs this loose adaptation of Patterson's 16th novel I, Alex Cross, which is set for an October release.
