Will Ferrell and Liam Neeson have joined the voice cast of Lego: The Piece of Resistance.
Warner Bros and Village Roadshow are making a 3D animated film out of the childhood toy line, to be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (21 Jump Street).
Deadline also reveal Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation) and Alison Brie (Community) will join the previously announced Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett and Morgan Freeman.
Lego: The Piece of Resistance follows Emmet (Pratt), a rule-abiding, average Lego minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the Master Builder - "the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world", and recruited into a team to help bring down an evil tyrant.
Ferrell will play Emmet's enemy, President Business, while Neeson will be the president's powerful henchman, Bad Cop. Offerman is a "craggy, swaggering" pirate obsessed with taking revenge on the President, and Brie will be a member of Emmet's team with a powerful secret.
The Lego movie is scheduled for release 7th February 2014.
