Sam Mendes Posts Skyfall Videoblog

The director talks about tackling his first James Bond film, plus footage of Daniel Craig on set.

Director Sam Mendes has posted his first videoblog from the set of Bond 23, otherwise known as Skyfall.

Fansite 007.com have the exclusive report, which shows the man behind American Beauty and Road to Perdition talking about his love of Bond movies, how impressed he is with Daniel Craig's take on the character, and points out how Skyfall is actually his first British film.

There are shots of Mendes on sets and on location, with a little glimpse of Craig. Don't expect any hard footage though. The film co-stars Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Bérénice Marlohe, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Albert Finney and Judi Dench.

Skyfall hits the UK and Ireland 26th October.
