Take out your eyeballs and rub them all over this new trailer for Skullgirls, the 2D fighting beast from Autumn Games, available soon for Xbox 360 and PS3.

The new trailer shows off the seven announced playable characters for the game and how they fit into the game's backstory, as well as giving a glimpse of some punch-packed gameplay.

Autumn Games have promised additional friends and foes will show up beyond the eight playable female warriors available at launch in this colourful anime-style explosion of a fight-fest.

The game also has itself a custom soundtrack, as well as varying ways to play including an arcade mode and ranked or unranked online play. Yum.
