What do you hope people take away after having listened to 'Kurr'?Hopefully people just feel a little bit better then before listening. That would be amazing.
Your approach has been likened somewhat to the 'kitchen sink' idea - what's the strangest instrument you've ever used?
I know a lot of people find the saw and the glassophone strange. Then we sample some funny sounds sometimes but that we keep to ourselves!
You've toured with Sigur Ros - do you ever hope to be as popular as they are?
What we want with our music is to have fun with it. Playing live and making new music. And hopefully being able to live from that for some time.
What's the most amazing thing you've ever seen or done whilst touring?
We had a wonderful helicopter ride once in Rio de Janeiro up to the statue which was really amazing.
If people are unfamiliar with your work, how would you describe it to them?
We like mixing all sorts of small sounds together and making layers of sound. It is kind of delicate but at the same time we try keeping it fun.
Finally, what are your plans for the remainder of 2007?
We're taking some time off right now and then we're going to tour from September until the end of the year.
