As the countdown to Glastonbury continues, so does our quest to get to know this year's performers. The Good Natured talk broken feet, tin church and eating hotdogs in front of Morrissey.

Hello, who are you and what role do you play in the band?
Hello! I'm Sarah from The Good Natured. I sing and write the songs!

How many times have you performed at Glastonbury?

None! We've never been there. This is our first time and we're very excited!


What's your Glastonbury (or Festival) postcard moment?

I think performing at Glastonbury this year will be very interesting! I've broken my foot so I'll be performing in my bright pink plaster cast- absolute classic!


Who will you be looking out for in the backstage area?

George says he wants to eat a hot dog in front of Morrissey.

How do you plan your festival set?

We're going to play a lot of songs from our usual set, but for the first time we'll be playing 'Skeleton' and 'Wolves' from our new EP too! We're really looking forward to it!



What makes Glastonbury special?

What can I say? It's Glastonbury! The festival has been around 41 years! Glastonbury has so much history and many great bands have played there. We feel special to be a part of it.



What's your worst festival memory?

Once we played at a small festival called Indietracks in Derbyshire. We performed in a tin church on the hottest day of the year - it was over 40 degrees in there - it was disgusting!


Have you ever worn fancy dress at a festival? If so, what did you dress up as?

I don't think I have...I'll look silly enough in my cast!

How do you deal with Glastonbury weather?

I hope the weather is nice! If it's a scorcher then I'll bring the sunglasses out! My skin is quite fair so I burn pretty easily. I'll definitely bring the factor 50 aka my goth cream.



Which festival, in your opinion, is sporting the best line up this year
Glastonbury, of course.


Finally, where else can we see you play this summer?

We'll be playing our EP launch party and a lot of other regional dates in July...just waiting for my foot to mend before we announce dates. We will keep you posted!

The Good Natured play the BBC Introducing Stage at 7.30pm on Saturday 25th June
