Free Energy Next up in our series of 'asking bands playing Reading and Leeds the same questions' are Philadelphia-based quintet, Free Energy, whose Spring 2010 debut album, 'Stuck On Nothing' was produced by James Murphy. And if it's OK with him, it's OK with us.

Warning: there's a bit of non-truth here.

Have you played Reading and Leeds before?
We played once in 1987. It was bonkers. We played mud instruments and ate mushrooms.

Who are you hoping to see while you're there?
Klaxons. Phoenix. Guns. Cypress Hill. Maybe some celebrities. Like Coldplay?

Who do you wish were playing the festival?
Thin Lizzy. Fleetwood Mac. Major Lazer. Cee-lo Green.

Who would you like to see collaborate over the weekend?
Queens of the Stone Age and Girls.

Who would you least like to clash with at the festival?
Weezer.

Do you, or have you ever gone to festivals as a fan?
Never been! Only played them. They seem pretty fun. We love camping, but not with thousands of people.

What's your festival food of choice?
Burger and fries.

Have you ever stolen from another band's rider?
Only big bands that don't finish their beer. Like, we 'stole' Coldplay's beer and cheese and deli meats. If you don't hang out after the show, your rider is fair game!

Reading or Leeds?
Liverpool.
