Some people are just cool. It doesn't matter what they do, or don't do, they're just inexplicably, and irrepressibly cool. Gruff Rhys is one of these people, and Neon Neon as a consequence are possibly the coolest band on the planet. Not only do they have album 'Stainless Style' and its back story, but they've possibly got the coolest instruments in the world, ever: Gruff's barely-there guitar, and 'I Lust U''s guest vocalist Cate Le Bon's minimalist bass. What's more - and at this point we're not sure there's anything more the Eighties-tastic set can bring - they've invited Har Mar Superstar on stage, guesting on various tracks including the really rather wonderful 'Sweat Shop'. He breakdances.

It's impossible to get in, but from a fair (well, ish) distance away it's possible to catch some of Sam Sparro's 'Black And Gold'. We've managed to catch people getting ludicrously excited about Fatboy Slim being interviewed at the T4 bus. Man-on-deckchair-gets-audience shocker!

Does It Offend You, Yeah? might seem to be plagued by 'technical difficulties' during their set at the Sandisk Stage, but that doesn't stop it being really rather fun, Morgan playing every bit the rock star with his Flying V, the tent suddenly feeling a bit like a party, just without the jelly and ice cream.

MSTRKRFT then take over, the tent fills up even more, and while we're particularly enjoying the duo's 'Easy Love', some others are trying to climb over a wheelchair. While someone's sat in it. The atmosphere's a whole lot darker, and suddenly we're far too sober. The queue outside is about twenty people deep. We leave it to them.
