Field Day - the day when every hipster within travelling distance of the capital decamps to Victoria Park to see bands they spend most of their lives listening to from SoundCloud players. A land where everyone owns an SLR, someone is updating their blog from their iPad in public, and DIY is distracted from the lot thanks to a few summer fete style games.
This year there's a host of things to look forward to - from headliners Wild Beasts through to favourites Zola Jesus, Still Corners and Echo Lake. We've got a whole bunch of happy scribblers making it out into the (hopefully) bright sunlight to keep you up to speed on what's happening. We'll be talking to some of the bands, taking photos and doing all kinds of things (probably largely fuelled by expensive beer).
