America Wins Big At The EMA Awards America Rules! Well that's the impression MTV were giving at last night's Europe Music Awards.

30 Seconds To Mars and Britney Spears walked away with the most awards in Liverpool with Barack Obama also receiving an honour or two at the bash.

Sir Paul McCartney was, as previously announced given the new Ultimate Legend award presented by Bono, while Tokio Hotel, Leona Lewis, Kanye West and Pink all received awards. Rick Astley was also presented as the Best Act Ever but failed to appear at the ceremony.
