An Experiment On A Bird In The Air Pump After two years together, 'An Experiment On A Bird In The Air Pump have decided to call it a day to concentrate on other projects.

Hinting that there might be a wee bit more to it, D-Bird comments on the band's blog: "Rather than dwelling on the reasons for ending I think it's important to look back and reflect on a proud achievement. We had FUN, I adored instrument swapping and more than anything, I loved being on stage."

The trio still have a few live dates planned, though whether they're still going ahead or not is yet to be confirmed:

January
23 Time For Heroes, Queen of Hoxton
30 Nation of Shopkeepers, Leeds
31 Harley, Sheffield

February
1 Captain’s Rest, Glasgow
2 Sneaky Pete’s, Edinburgh
20 Cable Street Riot, Jamboree Club, Cable St Studios

They released an EP, 'Buy A Life', at the end of last year.
