Animal Collective Release Grateful Dead Sampling EP

Track two, 'What Would I Want? Sky', features the first ever licensed Grateful Dead sample.

Animal Collective Animal Collective are preparing to release a new EP entitled 'Fall Be Kind', the second track on which features the first ever licensed Grateful Dead sample.

The five track release, out digitally on 23rd November and physically (CD and 12") on 14th December, was recorded by Ben Allen between February 2008 and August 2009.

The tracklisting reads:

1 - Graze
2 - What Would I Want? Sky
3 - Bleed
4 - On a Highway
5 - I Think I Can

The band’s most recent album 'Merriweather Post Pavillion' was released less than a year ago.
