Arcade Fire Hyde Park Show Confirmed, Mumford & Sons Support

The huge outdoor date, set to take place this June, also features Beirut and The Vaccines.

Arcade Fire Hyde Park Show Confirmed, Mumford & Sons Support Arcade Fire have confirmed rumours of a huge Hyde Park show for this summer.

As previously reported, the band will play the mammoth outdoor show on Thursday June 30. According to The Sun, Win Butler comments on the shows: "We've grown to love playing these bigger shows. After our O2 Arena gigs in December I got as sick as I've ever been with a bug because I put so much energy into it. We leave everything on the stage"

Support for the shows will come from Beirut, The Vaccines and Mumford & Sons. Tickets are on sale from this Friday (28 January) at 9am.

Now the only question is if the proximity of this show to a certain festival means a Glastonbury appearance is in the offing. That could be very special indeed.
