Arcade Fire Reveal ‘The Suburbs’ Re-Release Details

A special deluxe edition featuring two new unreleased songs will be released on August 2nd stateside - one year after the original release of the album.

Arcade Fire Arcade Fire have revealed more details about the re-release of multi-award winning album 'The Suburbs'.

A special deluxe edition featuring two new unreleased songs will be released on August 2nd stateside - one year after the original release of the album. One of the two new tracks - 'Speaking In Tongues' - features vocals from David Byrne. That appears alongside second unreleased song 'Culture War', and a longer version of 'Wasted Hours (A Life That We Can Live)'.

Also included will be a DVD featuring Spike Jonze directed short 'Scenes From The Suburbs', a companion documentary and a music video for the album's title track. There will also be a booklet including lyrics and 80 pages of photos from the 'Scenes From The Suburbs' film shoot.

The two new tracks are set to be given a first play on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show on May 23rd.
