Arcade Fire Win Brit Award For ‘The Suburbs’

Their first Brit, it follows their Grammy win at the weekend.

Arcade Fire The winners of the 2011 Brit Award for International Album are, deservedly, Arcade Fire for their third studio album 'The Suburbs'.

Their first Brit, it follows their Grammy win at the weekend. They're also up for International Group.

They were up against:

Cee Lo Green - The Lady Killer
Eminem - Recovery
Katy Perry - Teenage Dream
Kings Of Leon - Come Around Sundown

The ceremony is taking place at The O2 in London right now (Tuesday 15th February), broadcast live on ITV1.

The first award of the night to be announced was British Male Solo Artist, which went to Plan B - who's also up for British Single and British Album Of The Year. The second, British Breakthrough Act, went to Tinie Tempah.
