Azealia Banks Confirmed As First Artist To Play Coachella 2012
Harlem star confirms her appearance with a tweet

Azealia Banks has confirmed herself for this year's Coachella Festival, doing so in typical fashion by tweeting the news. Banks is currently residing in London, working on her debut album with producer Paul Epworth. She's rumoured to be working with Kanye West in some form for the record, and she's keeping busy by fuelling twitter spats with Kreayshawn, whilst making candid interview statement about the head of her former record label, XL's Richard Russell.
Banks' most recent track, 'Liquorice', hit the internet just before Christmas. She was also recently ranked 3rd in the BBC Sound of 2012 poll.
