Bands Announced For NME Awards Tour 2010
The tour will start on 4th February in Newcastle and will end on 20th February in London.

NME have announced that the bands to play their Shockwaves NME Awards Tour 2010 will be The Maccabees, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Big Pink and The Drums.The tour will start on 4th February in Newcastle and will end on 20th February in London:

The Maccabees' Felix White comments: "I remember me and Hugo [White, guitarist], went to the Bloc Party, Futureheads, Kaiser Chiefs tour [in 2005, which also featured The Killers]. We were like, 'Shit, that's how it's done'.
I remember being ridiculously excited about The Futureheads. That was a time when the possibility of what you could do with your mates and guitars, realising how you did that and it being achievable, became real. Those tours put that in front of you."
