Beach Break Live Moves From Beach To Safari Park
The festival has moved from Cornwall to Kent.
Beach Break Live have had some trouble with their venue, which was originally St Agnes in Cornwall. They were denied the appropriate licenses at the last minute - just days before the festival, which is due to start on 16th June - so have had to come up with a last minute alternative.
Instead of taking place on a beach in Cornwall, the event will now take place at Port Lympne Safari Park in Kent.
In their announcement to ticket holders, organisers said: "After coming face to face with the prospect of extinction, we followed our animal instincts and headed across the UK in search of safety. Bursting out of the undergrowth amongst the rhino’s, tigers, monkeys, lions and a whole host of other completely splendid looking creatures, Beach Break Live is currently erupting in a blossoming safari spectacular."
The festival will take place from 16th - 19th June, and is now sold out. Dizzee Rascal, Mystery Jets and Friendly Fires are amongst those set to play.
