Bloc Party To Release New Album On Thursday

Third studio album 'Intimacy' will available to download via the band's official website on August 21st, with a physical CD following in October.

Bloc Party Bloc Party tonight (August 18th) revealed the shock details of their third studio album 'Intimacy' via their first ever web chat.

The record can be pre-ordered from the band's official website blocparty.com now. A physical CD will be sent out from October 27th, with a download version available from Thursday (August 21st).

The album is produced by Paul Epworth (who previously worked on 'Silent Alarm') and Jacknife Lee (knob twiddler on 'A Weekend In The City'). Some tracks are described as 'Bloc Party at their most wildly experimental', while others fit in with fan-favourites like 'Helicopter' and 'Banquet'.
