Blur Announce New Album
The band will release a new album next month entitled 'Midlife: A Beginner's Guide To Blur'.

Blur will release a new album next month entitled 'Midlife: A Beginner's Guide To Blur'.The record will be released as a double CD and download through EMI on 15th June, and will contain '25 tracks spanning the band’s seven studio albums'.

Promoter and VP of music at Live Nation, Steve Homer, has also revealed the band may be plotting dates in the US and Europe alongside their Summer UK dates, telling Billboard.biz: "They have been rehearsing for some time now, for several months. There are no plans beyond T In The Park [12th July] and Oxegen [10th July]. They are talking about some American shows still in the same time frame. There are possibilities of some European ones as well."
So far the band have just one date outside of the UK announced - they'll be playing Les Nuits de Fourviere fin France on 5th July.
