Damon, Graham, Alex and Dave are to reunite on stage for the first time since their Royal Festival Hall show of 2000 for a show in London's Hyde Park next year.

Speaking to NME.com, Damon said "It just felt it was right again. It somehow feels like there's something for us to do again, we're not completely useless or pointless, we've got a reason to exist."

Taking place on Friday, July 3rd 2009, tickets for the gig go on sale from 9am on Friday (December 12th), are limited to six per person, and cost £45 each.

Elsewhere, rumours suggest the band will definitely be headlining the Sunday night of Glastonbury.
