Blur To Release New Material This Month

Their first since the 2003 single 'Good Song'.

Blur Remember yesterday, the news of Parlophone's single series for Record Store Day? Where twelve artists are taking part, but they only told us about eleven of them? Well, it seems the last band is Blur.

Details of the release - their first since the 2003 single 'Good Song' - will apparently be announced nearer the time.

"We want independent record store to continue, they're an important part of our musical culture," frontman Damon Albarn told The Sun. "Music is a simple way for Blur to show our support and we hope people like it."

Other acts taking parts include The Beatles, Hot Chip and Bat For Lashes.
