Chapel Club Chapel Club have announced they will be playing an "extra set" of new material at their upcoming UK dates.

The band - who will kick off the run on 10th October in Manchester - will preview never-before-heard songs from their forthcoming second album.

The idea is that the band will play twice each night: one set containing songs from their debut 'Palace' and EP 'Wintering', and another of new material.

Frontman Lewis Bowman explains: "We all have a lot of love for the songs [on debut album 'Palace'] and we love that so many people have taken them to their hearts. But when we wrote them we were still learning how to write songs together. Now we have a bit more experience, we're better able to explore the possibilities. Everything feels freer and fresher and more relaxed and more exciting; hopefully the new songs reflect that."

The dates are as follows:

OCTOBER
10  Manchester  Sound Control
11  Edinburgh  Cabaret Voltaire
12  Sunderland  Independent
13  York   Duchess
15  Portsmouth  Wedgewood Rooms
16  Brighton  Komedia
17  Oxford   O2 Academy
18  London   O2  Shepherds Bush Empire
