Darren Hayman Announces Vostok 5 Exhibition
Darren Hayman joins forces with Robert Rotifer, Duncan Barrett, Sarah Lippett and Paul Rains for art exhibition and limited edition CD.

Vostok 5, a project comprising artwork and recordings based around the theme of 'People and Animals in Space' produced by indie luminaries Darren Hayman, Duncan Barrett (Tigercats), Robert Rotifer (Rotifer), Sarah Lippett (Fever Dream) and Paul Rains (Allo Darlin/Hexicon) will shortly come to fruition, with an exhibition at The Outside World Gallery, Shoreditch. Running from the 1st to the 7th September, the exhibition is accompanied by a 9 track cd, with contributions by the collective and their respective bands, and limited to a mere 500 copies. If the thought of twenty seven colour drawings of the dogs Russia sent into space in the 50s and 60s, lovingly crafted by Hayman, isn't enough alone to entice you along to the exhibition, there will also be an intimate acoustic show in the gallery on Saturday 3rd September.
