Dinosaur Pile-Up Appeal For Clips For New Video

If your clip is used you'll get a signed single and t-shirt.

Dinosaur Pile-Up For their new video, Dinosaur Pile-Up are asking fans to send in some footage of "whatever comes into your head when you listen to the track", which is 'Birds and Planes', in case you didn't know.

The band will then have the footage spliced up and glued together to make what will eventually be the finished video. If your clip is used, you get a signed copy of the single and a t-shirt.

Now, it sounds as though this could go one of three ways:

1. It all goes swimmingly well, lots of clips are sent in, the video is great;
2. There are a few entries, most are rubbish, the video is somewhat awful;
or, 3. No one sends anything and a video production company somewhere (or a student) ends up with an awful lot of signed singles and t-shirts.

But which will it be?

Here are some more details, which we've nabbed off their MySpace:

"Ok, so maybe some of you guys have heard our forthcoming single 'Birds and Planes' on Radio 1 recently, rad? Well to coincide with its physical release on the 26th July, we want you guys to make your own videos to the song!

Chop up video footage of whatever comes into your head when you listen to the track? A kickflip in your garden? Air drumming along in your car? Jumping off a roof into a swimming pool? Or maybe it's just footage from a movie.

Whatever it is, film it and send it to us ASAP and we'll compile as the OFFICIAL VIDEO for the song!!

For every clip we use you'll get a signed copy of the single and a t-shirt, and our favourite one gets to have us, DINOSAUR PILE-UP, play at your school/college/function room?! Ace or what??

Get shooting and upload all your stuff on YouTube. Just make sure you TAG it with the words: Dinosaur Pile-Up, Birds And Planes, Video."
