Elbow Win Mercury Music Prize

Elbow are the winners of this year's Mercury Music Prize.The Mancunian's album 'The Seldom Seen Kid' beat competition from bookies' favourite Burial, as well as Radiohead, Laura Marling and The Last Shadow Puppets, amongst others.
Accepting the award (and £20,000 prize), frontman Guy Garvey claimed the award to be "quite literally the best thing that's ever happened to us".
