Eleanor Friedberger Goes Solo

'Last Summer' will be released this summer.

The Fiery Furnaces Eleanor Friedberger is to release a solo album.

The Fiery Furnaces star has signed (in North America, at least) with Merge Records to issue 'Last Summer' on 12th July.

According to the label, the record came about following the duo's covers collection, 'Take Me Round Again', Eleanor having enjoyed the freedom of home solo recording.

The first single from the release is titled 'My Mistakes', and can be listened to below.
