Exclusive: Graham Coxon Previews Album ‘A+E’ With New Track ‘Truth’ Anyone who pays attention to DIY's various feeds and social media accounts over the past couple of weeks will have noticed we've been getting more than slightly excited about the most recent album from Graham Coxon, so we're happy - nay, delighted - to be able to bring you an exclusive taste in the form of a track from said full length, 'Truth'.

Returning to Parlophone, the ex Blur guitarist will release 'A+E', the follow up to the critically acclaimed, acoustic driven 'The Spinning Top', on April 2nd. Coxon describes the album as: “Improvisations, experiments in beats, rhythms. A chance to uninhibitedly make some sort of perversely sad, danceable and funny and despondent songs.” Adding “I didn’t want to get caught up in my usual struggle with trying to make things sound really posh. I didn’t want lovely 60s-sounding drums and valves.”

We describe it as "a bit of alright", or possibly "bloody brilliant".

DIY will be talking to Graham about 'A+E' (the album, we've not put him in hospital or anything - Ed) in a future issue of the magazine.
