Field Day Village Fete
There'll be a tombola, an onion peeling contest, a lucky dip, a farmers' market...
Field Day festival 2009 will be hosting a village fete in it's own Village Green area.
There'll be an onion peeling contest, lucky dip, tombola, giant pick and mix, a crockery smash, pea shelling, sack and egg & spoon racing, tug of war, a watermelon relay race and a splat the rat.
A farmers' market will also take place, featuring traders 'carefully sourced' from markets across London.
The music line up so far reads: Mogwai, The Horrors, Little Boots, Santigold, Mystery Jets, Juana Molina, Toumani Diabate, Mumford and Sons, Micachu & The Shapes, The Big Pink, Audion, The XX, The Temper Trap, Rusko, Plugs, Fake Blood, Four Tet, Erol Alkan, James Yorkston, Apes And Androids, Final Fantasy, Malcolm Middleton, Aeroplane, Fennesz, Errors, Skream, S.C.U.M and First Aid Kit.
