Fleet Foxes Announce New Album

The record's called 'Helplessness Blues'.

Fleet Foxes Fleet Foxes have this afternoon revealed a few details for their forthcoming album, the follow up to their self-titled 2008 debut.

The record's called 'Helplessness Blues', and it will be released 3rd May 2011 via Bella Union and Sub Pop. The title track is available to download below.

It was recorded over the course of a year at Avast Recording, Bear Creek Studios, Dreamland Studios, and Reciprocal Recording. The album was mixed by Phil Ek and co-produced by Fleet Foxes and Ek.

The twelve-track record will coincide with the band’s first North American tour dates since August 09, and will be followed by a string of UK dates in addition to the following:
