Foo Fighters are to head back to the studio next year to start work on a new album.

Foo Fighters Foo Fighters are to head back to the studio next year to start work on a new album.

The band only released most recent effort 'Wasting Light' earlier this year, but have already started working on their next long player.

"We're not finished yet," Dave Grohl writes on the band's website. "There are still more shows to play, more songs to write, more albums to record, for years to come. I mean if you would have told me 17 years ago that in 2012 I would be writing songs for our eighth studio album well."
