Friendly Fires Friendly Fires have cancelled tonight's gig in Southampton due to illness.

The band were due to play a show at the Guildhall this evening with support from SBTRKT and Chad Valley but revealed on their Facebook page that frontman Ed MacFarlane was suffering from a viral throat infection.

They said: "It is with great regret that tonight's show in Southampton has to be postponed. We apologise to our fans who were looking forward to seeing us perform tonight. So sorry."

They've promised to reschedule the show and said that all tickets would still be valid. It's not known if SBTRKT and Chad Valley will play on the rescheduled date.

All remaining shows are still planned to go ahead - the next being in Nottingham on 14th November, before dates at Newcastle, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Cambridge, Lincoln, and London.
