Frightened Rabbit Sign To Atlantic

The band are starting work on album number four.

Frightened Rabbit Frightened Rabbit have revealed they've signed to Atlantic, moving from their label of four years FatCat.

In a statement (made whilst on the road in Europe), the band say: "So here we are in Germany nearing the end of an extremely gruelling but exciting year for FR. We have some exciting news to share with you all. This week we signed a deal with Atlantic Records and after some time off next year to write new material we will be releasing record no. four with this great label.

It feels very special to be part of a label with such a great history and we're really looking forward to working with everybody we have met to this point. We also feel it's important to mention how great the past four years have been with FatCat and although it is time to move on we are greatly appreciative of the amazing job they've done."

They used the occasion for a bit of subtle plugging, too: "Our last single from 'Winter of Mixed Drinks' ['The Loneliness & The Scream'] will be released next week and of course we still have a tour to complete so we best be off now. We look forward to swinging everyone in the UK over the next couple of weeks. Otherwise, see you all at ATP otherwise known as the Frightened Rabbit Office Christmas Party!"
